This authentic 1960s sofa was designed by renowned Danish designer Ib Kofod-Larsen and imported by Selig, a brand known for bringing high-quality Scandinavian modern furniture to the U.S. mid-century market. Expertly crafted with a sculptural beech wood frame finished in a deep walnut tone, this piece blends elegance with comfort. It does not retain original straps but has a clean white canvas. It’s been newly upholstered in a rich ivory bouclé-style fabric, offering a soft and elevated look. Kofod-Larsen’s work is celebrated for its refined silhouettes and organic curves—this design is no exception. From the sleek armrests to the slatted backrest, every detail speaks to the designer’s mastery of form and proportion. In excellent vintage condition with its original Danish control tag proudly intact.
