Oh my goodness this pair of lounge chairs is looking ever so beautiful. Newly upholstered in this gorgeous multi-colored tweed fabric that contrasts perfectly with the barrel back walnut shell. Dating to the early 1960’s these chairs have a very obvious influence by Milo Baughman and Chet Beardsley. No maker mark found but these are undoubtedly 100% authentic. The angular back legs add that extra comfort for the perfect seating position. There are some marks and wear to the wood due to age and use. Nothing major. The rounded shell is a wonderful example of the bent plywood techniques that added amazing curvature to these amazing chairs not only making them aesthetically pleasing but more comfortable.
